Street Dancing
Street dancing comes in many forms; break dancing, krumping, body popping, liquid dancing, locking, hip hop and uprocking. Each with their own unique style that is preferred by many street dancing fanatics. Street dancing requires a high level of fitness, body movement and suppleness as you are constantly moving each limb in all sorts of various ways along to a beat!

Street dancing originated in the 60s and 70s but has more recently in the last few years hit back by featuring in many music videos and television competitions, so you would expect young people to be inspired by the original form of dance. The activity of street dancing is aimed at the younger generation due to its high physical demands but there are classes that can offer a taster session for anyone who is in the mood. Its easy to get the feel and rhythm and holds many benefits such as an invigorating exercise session, a social meet, competitions and demonstrations in front of the public.
Street dancing clubs are located all across the UK, mainly in community halls hosted by private and experienced teachers. Street dancing is an enjoyable artistic dance experience that can hold so much potential for a young joiner.
